I would like to take this opportunity to commend Ms. Lakmalee Senanayake for her exemplary service.
I have been purchasing my Air Tickets from The Travel Arcade through Ms. Senanayake since 2007 when I made my first trip back home from Canada. I will continue to be a client of The Travel Arcade, due to the excellent service provided. Which always has been prompt, precise, accurate and most important very competitive with regards to the cost. Do keep up the good work, and you will always have me as a valued customer. Thank you Lakmalee for all your effort and help. You have made the difference of me buying my tickets through the Travel Arcade and not from any other agency.
Overall we are most satisfied with the service levels of Travel Arcade with whom we have been doing business for many years. We are particularly happy with your attention /response to our requirements.
The only concern is that in your absence we have found response times very slow and also not pro-active in coming up with options.
Mr Gamini & Mrs Vimukthi Nanayakkara -24th April 2013 - 27th April 2013
Hope all is well with you and family Nirosha. My apologies for not writing to you earlier but I am aware that Gamini did speak to you and thank you for your organisation of our trip to Thailand.
Nevertheless, I too wanted to mail you to say a 'big thank you' for a well organised trip with no flaws, whatsoever. The hotels selected were excellent and the itinerary planned was just in line for us - not too adventurous having plenty time just to relax and enjoy the passing scenes and culture.
My brother in law too was highly taken up with the efficient manner in which you organised his short tour and he and his wife said that they too had a great holiday as well.
Please let us know if and when there is an organised tour coming up for China so that we can consider joining.
Thank you so much for all your help and please keep me posted of your latest tour packages.
Mr Ranjith & Mrs Kuveni Wijeratnetr - 24th July 2013 - 28th July 2013
Thank you Nirosha and Travel Arcade for organising this tour. We would certainly recommend it, to anyone.
1.We enjoyed it very much. Your planning was meticulous and we know you took so much trouble over the finer details including the visa issue? Getting the visa at Vietnam Immigration was a breeze ! Although none of the immigration officials spoke English , everything worked like a factory production line. i didn't have to stand in line and the whole process didn't take longer than 15 minutes ! The lady who was assigned to assist Kuveni with the wheel chair was very gracious and helped us all the way until,MrHai met us outside the airport.. This was once place we were concerned, but it went off with out a hitch !
2.The tour guide Mr Hai was super excellent... very bright, caring, always smiling !!..(helpedKuveni on and off the bus.. always and was very conscious about her problem re arthritis). He was "literally on the ball" and was quick and was able to "think on his feet" and very often knew what we wanted, even before we told him, and... he was always on time !! . l He also got us a local SIM card etc, which was so useful. The tour was was pretty much hassle free, good ground transport( the pick up and drop from the airport and hotel was flawless !) and a very good careful driver. (although we might have preferred a car to Halong Bay as the ride was bumpy in the small coach and there wasn't too much leg space !) . Anyway , we had this coach entirely to our selves, and that was a huge plus !
3.The cruise on Halong Bay was excellent. The boat was superb and the food was even better ! The menu changed each day and it was indeed a fine dining experience ! It was beautifully presented, and the staff on board were very attentive. Although the boat was basically a Junk- the interior was quite plush, with superb large viewing windows , the air conditioning was good too, and the linen was very clean and the bathroom was adequate, and clean too . It was so relaxing , we met so many nice people, and for the price we paid - it was value for money.
4. Maison d' Hanoi hotel was superb too......right in the center of the bazaar area, but once you got inside it was an oasis. The room with the balcony was good as i gather , we got an upgrade? (thanks to you ?!!) The restaurant wasn't too bad either , (as we had dinner on two occasions and it wasn't too expensive ) However , the breakfast buffet was the same everyday, not much choice, and... I wish the staff were a little more friendlier?. The Vietnamese are nice, gentle people , but we thought there was a language barrier? as not many of them spoke English, and we found it a trifle difficult to get through. Hai was the exception !
Please convey our comments to your agent in Hanoi , and again, "Thank You" !! Nirosha for taking care of all the details and constantly keeping touch with us and your agent and the tour guide, in Hanoi , (on the phone too... even when we were there.) .. to make sure everything was just right?
